Macomb County Warming Center Rotating Shelter

Sunday, March 25, 6 p.m. through

Sunday, April 1, 7 a.m.

Renaissance Unity is hosting the Macomb County Warming Center Rotating Shelter. The building will be closed that week in the evenings to accommodate the Warming Center guests. All volunteers for this event must attend an orientation and training. For more information, please contact Rev. Ric Beattie at rbeattie@renaissanceunity.org or call 586-353-2305.

Classes and support groups will resume meeting on Monday, April 2. 

Caring & Sharing

The Caring & Sharing Fund allows RU to assist members who have emergency needs. Some examples of those needs might be:

 

*Utility bill shut-off notice

*Assistance with rent (eviction notice)

*Emergency groceries needed

*Gas for vehicle to enable one to get to their job

We have been able to assist many members since we established this fund and your continuous donations will help keep the fund replenished. Please designate “Caring & Sharing” on your check or an offering envelope.  If you have further questions, please stop by the Community Outreach counter.
