The Gift of Light - Prayer for May 2, 2022

Today's Prayer

Father, Mother, Everything God,

Each one of us can be a beacon of light to the world, if we let our light shine. The gift of light is within us all, and it is a gift to share.

Throughout the day, we can be a peaceful presence, show patience and kindness with everyone we encounter. These are ways we can put our light on display.

We may never know the difference we have made in even one person’s life, but we’ll feel the difference in our own.

The world needs light right now, so let us be part of that light.

We offer this prayer in the name of Jesus, the Christ.
