Overview: This video and the discussion will cover what Racial Justice Allyship is, and why it is important, even necessary, to achieve racial justice and equity in our country and world. We will look at what it takes for racialized white people to be strong allies and for racialized Black people to be receptive to allyship. We will discuss the role of our spiritual teachings and consciousness as tools to employ as allies and why social justice is itself a spiritual practice.
