As I look to the days ahead, I often realize that what I'm anticipating is driven by the events of days behind me. It can be so easy to look in the rearview mirror of life and miss what is right in front of you.
In my prayer, today, I place my hands on the steering wheel of the present, releasing these attachments so that I can simply be with you.
I free myself from being caught up in the past and overly attached to the future.
I allow myself to simply be in the now, appreciating the gift of this precious moment.
