Today's Prayer

Dear God, There are times my emotions get the best of me and words tumble from my mouth.

Though I can't take back the words, I can make amends and take steps to change.

When the urge to become snarky arises, I place my attention on you.

I speak from my heart, not my ego or past hurts.

May your compassion pour into me, as I deeply desire to live my life with the intention to honor, respect, and love others.
