Our Prayer for Juneteenth - Prayer for 6/19/25

Today, we pause to remember— to honor the resilience, courage, and dignity of those who endured the trauma of bondage and those who dreamed of freedom even when it seemed impossible.

Juneteenth is more than a celebration of freedom declared—it is a call to embody justice, to walk in divine truth, to live in love that liberates. We recognize the cost of generational trauma, and the reality of freedom still unrealized. We name the pain that persists in policies, in silence, in fear. We listen to voices that history and oppression have tried to erase and we affirm the strength rising in this present moment - truth-tellers who are shaping a future rooted in justice, dignity and real liberation.

In unity, we commit to being people who uplift, who remember, who learn, who speak, and who act— in conscious love and in steady faith.
