Our hearts are incredible heavy with sadness today, Sept. 17, 2025. Early this morning, Rev. Glenn, our dear brother, passed from this earthly presence during emergency surgery.
Glenn lived his faith through action—by caring deeply for every person he met, by lifting up communities, and by inspiring others to rise beyond their own expectations. He was a powerful example of love in motion, blending wisdom with compassion and vision with courage.
Glenn’s legacy is one of faith, leadership, and love in action. We honor him by living with the same generosity of spirit he gave so freely to us.
We hold in our prayers his wife, Lia, and his sister, Debbie, along with all who were blessed to know and love him. We hold one another with presence and care today and in the days ahead and feel his steady presence guiding our steps always.
We will gather as a community soon to celebrate his life as arrangements are being made.
Remember and hold on to his warm and animated closing words every Sunday, “I love you Renaissance Unity, and there’s nothing you can do about it!” Join us this Sunday @ 9:30 AM in Royal Oak.

Whether you’re new to Renaissance Unity or feeling called to rededicate your commitment to our loving spiritual community, we invite you to join us for our upcoming New Member Orientation—a time of reflection, learning, and spiritual alignment.
We will explore our core beliefs and guiding principles, how they’re rooted in Unity’s foundational teachings, and what it means to be an active, engaged member of this community. We’ll also share how membership offers the opportunity to vote on key decisions that shape our direction and mission. This orientation is for in-person participants, as voting rights are extended to those who regularly attend in person.
For our beloved online community, we see you, value you, and are preparing a meaningful orientation experience designed just for you. While it will look a little different, your place in this community is just as sacred. More details are coming soon.
