Here for Each Other - Prayer for July 3, 2022

Oh how I long to be understood and understand others!

How I long to feel safe in other people’s perception!

Yet, despite these longings, I clearly know that wishing for this control keeps me captive and unable to truly express and be all that I am.

May I release this need to you. May I remember that even in those moments when I do feel misunderstood, there is a gift waiting to be received by myself or another.

We are here to teach each other. We are here to love each other.

May I do both with authenticity and awareness.
